TCEA 2011

Went to Austin Texas this week for TCEA. This is the second largest technology conference in the country next to ISTE. I was a Featured Speaker where I conducted 3 sessions. The first was “Getting to Know our iPad”. This was a 3 hour handson workshop. The second was my main speech titled “Web 2.0, the Who, the What and the Why”. This session was 90 minutes where I had a nice talk about SNS (Social Network Sites). The third was titled “Opensource” where I talk and demoonstrated software used on our webserver “Oilcan”. Close to 10,000 teachers had attended the conference even though the weather was so cold.
