2008 CDM Catholic Divorce Ministry Region IX Information                            

We are a peer support ministry sponsored by the Catholic Church to serve separated, divorced and widowed persons of all faiths.

All support groups have general monthly meetings. Some meetings include guest speakers on topics of interest to the divorced and widowed. Click on support group links at left for more information. 

Some of the programs provided by our support groups are listed below. While all groups may not provide some of these programs they may also provide additional programs. For program information, contact the support group in your area. You may go to any support group that best suits your needs.

Steps to Wholeness is a workshop for those dealing with the new experience of the loss of marriage. The sessions meet weekly for two hours. The divorced program is eight weeks long. The widowed program is six weeks long.

Care & Share are gatherings for divorced or widowed persons who feel the need for support and caring while facing the challenge of change in their lives.

DASK (Divorced and Separated Koinonia) is a weekend retreat for spiritual uplifting and renewal of your faith.The next weekend in St. Louis will be held on March 28-30, 2008

Beginning Experience is a weekend designed for divorced and widowed persons to help close the door to their married lives and make new beginnings.

Family Activities are organized by the groups to include the entire family.

Spiritual Activities may include Mass, workshops and/or retreats.

Social Activities help members reestablish their trust and self-confidence.
